Welcome to the Rochdale Kingsway Run website.
The Rochdale Kingsway Run is a new series of runs taking place in and around the prestigious Kingsway Business Park, Rochdale on Sunday September 23rd 2012. With the support of Rochdale Development Agency, the Kingsway Partnership and the local business community, the event is set to raise the profile of the town, benefit a range of good causes and provide a healthy encouragement to local people to take part in a popular sporting activity.
The event features four races:
- The Rochdale Kingsway 10K – starting and finishing on the running track at
Kingsway Park Sports Centre, this is a scenic race taking in the paths and roadways
in and around Kingsway Business Park
- The Rochdale Kingsway 5K – starting and finishing on the running track at Kingsway
Park Sports Centre, this shorter route would suit runners of all abilities, including
those looking to compete in their first timed race
- The Rochdale Kingsway Fun Run – a short run of approximately 2K, starting and
finishing on the running track at Kingsway Park Sports Centre, this untimed run is
designed for all ages and abilities and would also suit those looking to complete

- The Rochdale Kingsway Children's Race – a great opportunity for the kids to run off
some of their energy. A couple of laps of the running track and then cross the line to
collect their well-deserved medal!
The races will be organised by specialist race managers Nice Work, in association with Rochdale Development Agency and the Kingsway Partnership.
Local businesses are being encouraged to get involved in the day either through sponsorship, entering a corporate team or donating items for goody bags.
